The Social Responsibility Response Committee (SRRC) is continually thinking about ways we can rise together to strengthen our communities through collaboration and investment in our neighborhoods and each other. To accomplish this during Community Health Improvement Week, we held our first Acutis Campus Cleanup, a volunteer-led outdoor cleanup of our headquarters property.
Since we moved into our new lab in 2020, it became evident that leftover garbage and debris from the previous office owners remained on the property, diminishing the enjoyability of our outdoor spaces. The SRRC took this opportunity to clean up our community by organizing an event within our surrounding area. Not only was this great a way to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment, but having team members across departments volunteer together was a memorable team-building experience for everyone involved.
